The company was founded by Sofia Stamatatou & Leonidas Alexopoulos. Sofia holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Patras, a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NTUA. Leonidas holds a tenured track position at the National Technical University of Athens and he studied at Duke, MIT, and Harvard Medical School.
The advisory board is Doug Lauffenburger, Ford Professor of Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Biology at MIT and Peter Sorger, Otto Krayer Professor of Systems Pharmacology, Department of Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School.
